Lifestyle Show And AM News ProducerWKEF ABC22 & FOX45 in Dayton, OH has an immediate opening for a creative Lifestyle Show and AM News Producer In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our lifestyle show, Good Day Dayton, and produce the 9a News (Your Day) as well. This position will also work closely with the Lifestyle Host, Sales Managers, News Director and News Talent on the shows and its content. In this position you will determine the content and flow of show, work with sales, management and on-air staff to generate and write stories and develop content for our website.The ideal candidate will have:Be a compelling and accurate writerBe able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative showAbility to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environmentStrong leadership and communication skillsThe ability to execute sponsored content strategies and goals in daily showsUnderstanding and appreciation for TV NewsFlexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a mustProficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Adobe) and newsroom systems, such as iNewsCreative with linear and digital execution of clients advertising objectivesExperience:Some previous producing experience at a commercial TV station, although the right entry-level candidate with the right attitude would be consideredA Journalism or Communications degree is preferredEEO AND INCLUSIVITY: Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
