Warehouse AssociateAdecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator opportunities in Aurora, IL.LOCATION: Aurora, ILSHIFT: Monday - Friday, 1st= 6AM-2PM, 2nd= 2PM-10PM, 3rd= 10PM-6AM with overtime as neededPAY: $20.00-22.00/hrResponsibilities for a Warehouse Associate include but are not limited to:Operate stand-up forklifts (Raymond or Crown), cherry pickers, turret trucks, hand jacks, and other warehouse equipmentAccurately pick, put away, transport, store, and retrieve materialsIdentify, sort, stack, audit, and locate parts and supplies efficientlyComply with all safety guidelines, company policies, and proceduresMaintain facility cleanliness using 5S methodology and participate in team/safety meetingsComplete additional warehouse duties as assignedCandidates for Warehouse Associate must meet the following requirements to be considered:Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift experience (required)1-2 years of warehouse experienceAbility to operate computers and scanners; working knowledge of SAP preferredStrong communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing operational demandsAbility to stand for 8+ hours, lift over 30 lbs, and work in hot and cold environmentsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMust wear safety shoes and safety glasses (required on day one)What's in this Warehouse Associate / Forklift Operator position for you?Pay rates starting at $18.00 per hour, plus overtime as neededWeekly Pay - you receive a paycheck every weekCasual, Warehouse Work Environment - dress casual and enjoy a casual, laid-back atmosphereComprehensive benefits after 1 week - medical, dental, vision, options availableBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
