We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Customer Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The role involves engaging with customers both in person and through various communication channels, ensuring that all customer concerns are addressed promptly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide product and service information to customers.
- Process orders, returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions when necessary.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Assist with maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the customer service area.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide feedback to management regarding recurring customer concerns and suggestions for improvements.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional customer service training is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and patience.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and customer service software.
