Operations Manager - Packaging and Customization ServicesThe Operations Manager for Packaging and Customization Services (PACS) is responsible for the execution of production operations within an assigned facility. This leader will uphold organizational policies and makes decisions guiding productivity, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of production to achieve revenue and profit targets. Directs facility level support functions including finance, engineering, materials, quality assurance, and human resources. Ensures team member safety, security, training, and regulations are in place and aligned with GEODIS best practices. Fuel your career with GEODIS and discover endless growth opportunities.Your role on the team:Provides leadership and direction to operational team members responsible for executing PACS within the siteCoordinates, manages, and monitors the workings of all departments. Ensures production performance KPI's are tracked, and overall goals are set, maintained daily, and continuously improved. Understanding, tracking, and improving KPI's are vital to the Operations Managers success and the success of the organizationServes as the primary point of contact/liaison inside the site to the Americas' PACS leadership teamResponsible for meeting Line of Sight targets (REV, CM, DSO) inside area of responsibilityManage external organizational relationships with a focus on great customer service and growthEnsures campus and PACS regulations, guidelines and best practices are executed in all accountsServes as a LEAN champion; spending time inside the operation coaching team members to focus on safety, quality and productivityManages key operational information to establish clear production schedules and capacity capabilities align with customer forecastsCoordinates with campus leaders, HR and temporary staffing agencies to manage resource requirements to meet production schedulesDevelops plans for effective use of materials, equipment and employee resourcesFocuses on continuous improvement and growth opportunities for existing accounts through collaboration with campus and PACS leaders, engineering and supporting workstreamsReviews PACS P&Ls to identify improvement opportunities; coordinates with campus and PACS leadership to adjust execution that meets profit targetsWorks with PACS leadership and engineering to deliver competitive project quotes.
