We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect with expertise in application portfolio rationalization to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-wide architecture strategies that streamline and optimize our application portfolio. This role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring alignment between our IT and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, ensuring it aligns with business goals and technology standards.
Design and implement scalable, robust, and high-performance architecture solutions that support business processes and objectives.
Lead the assessment and rationalization of the application portfolio to identify redundancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for consolidation.
Develop and execute strategies for application portfolio optimization, including the elimination of obsolete applications and the consolidation of overlapping systems.
Collaborate with business and IT leaders to define architectural principles, standards, and guidelines for application portfolio management.
Create and maintain a strategic roadmap for application portfolio rationalization, including timelines, milestones, and resource requirements.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into architectural solutions that address business needs.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input, discuss architecture strategies, and drive consensus among stakeholders.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that support the rationalization and optimization of the application portfolio.
Ensure seamless integration of applications with existing enterprise systems and platforms.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect with a focus on application portfolio rationalization.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture design, application portfolio management, and strategic planning.
Demonstrated success in leading application rationalization initiatives and optimizing complex application landscapes.
Skills:
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, NIST).
Expertise in application portfolio management, including rationalization, consolidation, and optimization strategies.
Proficiency in enterprise integration patterns, cloud platforms, and technology evaluation.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar are preferred.
