Schedule consists of patient contact hours totaling 36. Shifts will be Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. When there is open time in the OR, we will work with scheduling cases. The position includes both inpatient and clinic coverage. Hospital coverage will be provided in a specified area, with clinic coverage in a designated location. Call shifts for hospital responsibilities will be included, with hourly shifts for clinic duties. Inpatient responsibilities are part of the role. The physician-to-nurse ratio is 1:1. Ancillary staff will be available at a ratio of 1:1 per provider. All ENT services are provided within this practice. Each provider will have access to 2 to 3 exam rooms. Medical imaging services are available in the building. Lab and pharmacy services are also available within the facility. The daily volume in the clinic is 30 or more patients. Each appointment length is approximately 15 minutes. The patient population includes individuals from surrounding outreach areas. There may be teaching opportunities available. The electronic medical record system in use is EPIC. On-call duty will be included in the call schedule. Weekend and holiday call shifts may be required as needed.
