Iris client, one of their Insurance Client is looking to hire UDB DBA for Bethlehem, PA or Holmdel, NJ(Hybrid)


Location : Bethlehem, PA or Holmdel, NJ (Hybrid)

Experience: 10+ Years


Experience

  • 10+ years of UDB DBA experience
  • Migration of UDB databases.
  • Experience on partitioned databases.
  • Database utility experience including reorg, runstats, bind etc.
  • SQL coding and tuning experience.
  • Shell scripting and automation experience
  • Working with tools like IBM Data studio and other tools.
  • AWS/Cloud Services experience.
  • Database monitoring and tuning experience.
  • Cloud deployments experience: Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform
  • HADR experience.
  • Hands-on, technically adept DBA, capable of performing required DB tasks experience
  • Strong troubleshooting/performance tuning skills
  • Ability to assess and improve SQL performance
  • Ability to Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
  • Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
  • Expert level UDB RDBMS installation/configuration, patching, troubleshooting, performance tracking/tuning, back-up/recovery, remote monitoring skills with hands-on experience in -large and very dynamic environments
  • Experience in DB2 UDB, Oracle, Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, and/or Cassandra is plus
