Myers/Naples, Houston, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Nashville, Orlando, Raleigh, San Antonio, Sarasota, and Tampa.Job Summary: Participates in financial modeling and projections reporting; performs various financial analyses and special projects; reviews housing divisions financial results and assists with management reporting.Duties and Responsibilities:Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.Performs financial modeling and housing projections; performs various financial analyses and special projects, including analysis of financial results, variances and trends and management reporting.Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.Perform market research with other builders, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.Create recommendations to be presented to management and executives.Develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting.Aid in the capital budgeting and expenditure planning processes.Coordinates regularly with Treasurer and various accounting personnel.Requirements Minimum Education and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar position in homebuilding, banking, or finance or related fields.Additional Skills:Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent communication and presentation skills; be comfortable interacting with executive-level managementComfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independentlyDisplay excellent written and strong oral communication skillsStrong financial modeling experienceAdapt to change easily and participate in a group/team environmentGreat business acumenWork Requirements:Office environmentSome overtime work requiredLimited travel requiredBenefits M/I Homes offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off and paid holidays, paid parental leave, traditional and Roth 401(k) options, profit sharing plan, employee stock purchase plan, employee home purchase plan and more.We are committed to attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent that reflects the customers we serve and the communities where we live and work.
