Job Description:

As an MRI Technologist at Medical Staffing Company, you will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver accurate and compassionate patient care through advanced medical imaging. You will be responsible for operating MRI equipment, preparing patients for scans, and ensuring the highest level of image quality. Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, addressing patient concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout the MRI scan.
2. Equipment Operation: Operate MRI machines and associated equipment following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
3. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, ensuring the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors. Comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
4. Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for MRI scans by verifying medical history, positioning patients correctly, and administering contrast agents when necessary.
5. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of images produced, making adjustments as needed to optimize image clarity and diagnostic value.
6. Documentation: Accurately document patient information, scan details, and any adverse reactions in electronic medical records.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and physicians, to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnoses.
8. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on MRI equipment to ensure it functions optimally.

Qualifications:

• Certified MRI Technologist with a valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• State licensure to practice as an MRI Technologist in Arizona.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, protocols, and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
