We are seeking an organized and creative Multimedia Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, filming, editing, and enhancing video, photo and audio content, as well as assisting with event logistics.
Home Care powered by AUAF is a fast-growing non-profit organization providing non-medical in-home care services for over 30 years. Our Community Care Program offers clients a cost-effective alternative to nursing home placement, allowing them to receive care at home from a trained caregiver.
Assyrian Cultural Foundation (ACF) is dedicated to preserving and promoting Assyrian heritage and culture. We aim to engage our community through educational and cultural programs, fostering a deeper understanding of Assyrian history and traditions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Filming videos in the offices and at different locations.
- Working with the Marketing team to plan video shoots.
- Setting up and taking down cameras, microphones, lighting, and other equipment.
- Editing footage after recording.
- Fixing and enhancing audio quality in video projects.
- Providing creative direction when inserting captions, graphics, special effects, and video texts, especially for advertising/promoting products.
- Ensuring consistency in filming from start to finish.
- Collaborating with internal departments on projects and assignments.
- Crafting stories that are consistent with Home Care/ACF photography, mission, and communication goals.
- Taking pictures/videos for Home Care/ACF events, both internal and external.
- Planning, organizing, and managing project tasks as assigned.
- Maintaining accurate compliance records for all video projects.
- Assisting with event logistics and ensuring smooth execution of video-related tasks.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as a multimedia design, videographer & Photographer.
- Proficiency in using multimedia software and tools
- Experience in creating video content for social media
- Demonstrable video/photo editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in fixing and enhancing audio for video projects.
- Ability to work in a creative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with an innate attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently on projects and also collaborate as a strong team member.
- Strong sense of video composition and lighting.
- Knowledge of video and audio production techniques.
- Enthusiasm and a “Can Do” attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Multifaceted skills in videography, audio engineering, and event logistics.
- Strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
