This position will be located in Wausau, WI.

Your responsibilities

will include:Testing and inspecting fire alarm systems with existing and new customer baseMaintaining proper documentation for work performed using tools providedAdhering to company safety policies and proceduresFollowing verbal and written instructionsCarrying/moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbsPerforming work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions; such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipmentBeing able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer needsPerforming all duties in a safe and professional manner & maintaining a clean and safe work areaWhat we look for:Required: 1 year of installation or service experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm equipmentSelf-starter that can work with little or no supervisionStrong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quicklyCapable of performing physical laborExcellent communication skillsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid driver's license with good driving recordAbility to work well with othersObtain NICET I within 1 year of employmentBasic computer skills - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with smartphone skillsHiring hourly range: $17.31 - 21.64 (hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and)Johnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
