Job Summary Statement:

The Analyst, Master Data Management ensure global master data integrity and quality across processes and business groups. The position serves as an expert to the organization as it relates to data standards and integrity. As part of the role, the person is expected to interact with accounting, customer service, forecasting, sales, distribution, logistics, procurement and supply chain operations and identify gaps and improvement opportunities.


Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure global master data integrity and quality across processes and business groups.
  • Support organization’s data governance objectives.
  • Ensure master data conflicts are investigated and resolved or escalated to the right level.
  • Drive master data initiatives and projects.
  • Ensure efficient cooperation between Business and IT managers within and across master data objects.
  • Regularly review and enforce data quality and accountability.
  • Support training efforts data stewards and supporting roles are in place.
  • Develop communication and training plans needed to implement governance policies.
  • Coordinate with business staff to design data solutions that satisfy business needs while maintaining data integrity and standards.
  • Provide analytical support to other departments as necessary to assist with problem solving.
  • Regularly monitor Oracle Item Master for missing and inconsistent data. Solicit missing/correct information from other departments and upload into Oracle.
  • Lead efforts with external publishers (1WorldSync, GS1 Commerce, etc.) of item data.
  • Extract, prepare and supply reports to business partners, as required.
  • Work with Business Managers to set Key Metrics and demonstrate improvement to the senior leadership team.
  • Utilize various process improvement tools and methodologies to define activities and detailed tasks that are aligned with business objectives.
  • Support the development of management dashboards and operational reports by leveraging data warehouse.
  • Conduct periodic project review sessions with functional business groups and process owners to ensure Enterprise Applications are used as designed and operating efficiently.
  • Work within budgetary constraints to manage time lines and resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or three (3) years of experience in Data Management, Report Development or Business Analysis.
  • Experienced with large scale ERP system
  • Experienced with data warehouse concepts and principles.
  • Experienced with system integration planning and implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with both foundational and transactional data.
  • English language skills: Able to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
  • Math skills: Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Physical Demands: General office environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite, preferred intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Global database experience, 1WorldSync preferred, or similar.


Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Oracle Enterprise Business Suite
