Build your career with the industry-leading fire, life safety and security company.The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and supporting sales initiatives across their assigned region. This role provides strategic direction and tactical support, focusing on sales process excellence, talent development, and performance alignment. The Regional Sales Manager does not directly sell or earn commission but instead serves as a coach, enabler, and partner to sales leaders within the region.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Support the development of annual and quarterly sales goals in coordination with RVPs, RDs, and Branch Managers.Balance long-term strategic planning with hands-on tactical execution tailored to local needs.Partner with branch and market managers, who maintain direct reporting relationships with frontline sellers.In select markets where Market Sales Managers are hired, provide direct leadership and oversight for those managers.Guide the design and implementation of commission plans that align with business objectives.Review performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans in collaboration with local leaders.Assess talent needs across the region and provide input on recruitment, training, and succession planning.Deliver coaching and development opportunities for Market Sales Managers and sales team members.Facilitate training on CRM usage, sales techniques, and Pye-Barker best practices to raise sales effectiveness.Lead training efforts to ensure consistent CRM adoption and effective use.Drive improvements in data quality and reporting to enhance forecasting and decision-making.Promote consistent application of the Pye-Barker playbook while adapting to market-specific realities.Participate in bi-weekly calls with other Regional Sales Directors to share best practices and coordinate on company-wide initiatives.Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across branches and markets within the region.Frontline sellers continue reporting to branch/market managers; Market Sales Managers (when present) report directly to the Regional Sales Director.Recognize that each branch and market is unique; strategies are tailored rather than standardized.Provide leadership, guidance, and support without direct selling responsibilities.Education & Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.5+ years experience in sales leadership.Extensive experience in sales leadership, ideally across multiple branches or regions.Strong expertise in sales strategy, performance management, and commission structures.Proven ability to coach and develop sales managers and frontline sales teams.Proficiency in CRM systems and driving adoption at scale.Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on support.Other Duties:Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.Performs other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:Ability to travel regionally (up to 5070% of the time, depending on business needs).Must be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.Ability to stand, walk, and move within office, training, and branch environments.Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds of training or presentation materials.Must be able to communicate clearly in person, virtually, and over the phone.Flexibility to work evenings or weekends on occasion to meet business demands.Benefits and Perks:Excellent payMedical, dental, visionCompany paid life insuranceCompany paid short-term disability401K with employer matchPaid vacation and company holidaysTraining and career developmentCompany vehicle (if job applicable)Immediate qualification for the ALL In Ownership Plan for all eligible full-time employeesPye-Barker Fire and Safety is an Equal Opportunity Employer
