An experience where people engage their minds and hearts to do the best work of their careers.As our Resource Manager, you willBe tasked with efficiently managing the staffing and resource allocation of teams to enhance performance and cost-effectiveness. You will collaborate with project managers and leadership to improve resource distribution for various projects while building relationships with new talent. Additionally, you will analyze resource utilization trends, maintain an updated skills database, and proactively address talent shortages to ensure the optimal activation of our talent.Be accountable and responsibleStreamline staffing and resource utilization across supported teamsDeliver precise reports and analyses to leadership, highlighting gaps and recommending staffing strategiesAssess and balance organizational capacity to proactively optimize resourcesWork with project managers, sales leads, and service area leads to anticipate the project pipeline for enterprise clients, new business, and ad hoc initiativesCultivate relationships with talent and key stakeholders within the organizationExamine resource usage trends, forecast future needs, and ensure efficient resource utilizationHandle daily resource requests and escalate issues to management as neededFacilitate weekly resourcing meetings and engage in pipeline reviewsKeep an updated, searchable database of employee skills and experienceFoster strong relationships with senior leaders to understand their resource requirementsCollaborate with freelance resources to optimize budget profitabilityAdhere to internal contracting policies for freelance and temporary resourcesRegularly update the freelance database with feedback after assignmentsIdentify talent gaps and source freelance resources proactivelyRecommend improvements for resource tracking processes and tool upgradesUnderstanding of project requirements and knowledge of agency capabilities/processesDemonstrate strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsUphold a proactive mindset and creative problem-solving approachShow capability to work independently and collaborativelyEffectively manage time to meet tight client deadlines and deliverablesThese are the qualifications we're looking for3-4 years of agency experience, including 1-2 years specifically in a resourcing roleBachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceExperience in sourcing and engaging freelance talentExcellent communication skills (oral and written) to communicate with stakeholders across multiple levels and disciplinesAbility to adapt accordingly in an ever-changing environmentProject management experience is a plusAt Merge, we're committed to fostering an environment where our team members can thrive in both their careers and personal lives, ensuring they feel supported and empowered to succeed.Merge believes in transparency and equity.
