This role is critical to the successful launch of new products, ensuring timely procurement of materials and components while collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sourcing, cost analysis, and supplier management, with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence. Responsibilities include collaborating with Engineering, R&D, and Project Management teams to understand material requirements for new product introductions, sourcing and procuring components, materials, and services required for prototype and pilot builds, identifying and qualifying new suppliers to support NPI initiatives, managing RFQs, negotiating pricing, and establishing lead times for new materials, monitoring and managing supplier performance during NPI phases, supporting transition from prototype to production by ensuring supply chain readiness and continuity, working closely with Quality and Manufacturing teams to resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications, and continuously seeking cost reduction opportunities and supply chain efficiencies. Qualifications include a Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or related field, relevant certifications, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, strong understanding of MRP principles, and ability to navigate ERP systems, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and experience in an electrical products manufacturing environment is advantageous. #LI-AH1
