GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Full-Time) at Likely Inc.


Note: We are seeking candidates with strong technical expertise in graphic design, packaging design, and dieline creation. Applicants must provide links to their portfolio, website, or sample work showcasing their packaging design experience. This position is full-time and on-site in Pasadena, CA.

Summary:

As a Graphic Designer at Likely Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of premium brands through precise dieline creation and technical layouts. Success in this position involves meticulous attention to detail, innovative thinking, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

1. Specialized Expertise in Graphic Design:

  • Proficient in branding, conceptual design, digital design, and marketing collateral creation, showcasing a deep understanding of business objectives and technical design principles.

2. Technical Layouts:

  • Create precise technical layouts illustrating packaging structures, die cuts, and folding lines.
  • Ensure layouts meet print and digital specifications, including color accuracy and resolution.

3. Production Files:

  • Generate print-ready production files, adhering to brand guidelines and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless production processes.

4. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the Lead Designer and Product Managers to understand project briefs and execute design concepts.
  • Provide input and feedback on packaging concepts and designs.

5. Quality Control:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of dielines and production files to identify and rectify errors.
  • Ensure designs meet quality standards and client expectations.

6. Dieline Creation:

  • Develop accurate dielines for various packaging formats, adhering to industry standards and product requirements.
  • Ensure dielines are functional and optimized for production efficiency.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on packaging.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong understanding of packaging materials, printing processes, and production techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Compensation: $24.00 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9-5 pm
