Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Specialist with expertise in SAP, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) to join our dynamic finance team. As a Finance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • SAP Administration: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SAP to manage financial transactions, maintain vendor and customer master data, and troubleshoot system-related issues.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) Management: Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, reconcile accounts, and ensure compliance with payment terms. Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) Management: Oversee the AR process, including timely invoicing, application of customer payments, and resolving outstanding customer balances.
  • Financial Reporting: Generate periodic financial reports related to AP and AR, ensuring data accuracy and providing insightful analysis to management.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of AP and AR accounts to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Cash Flow Management: Support cash flow forecasting and optimization through efficient AP and AR management.
  • Vendor and Customer Communication: Communicate professionally with vendors and customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and other finance-related matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements in all finance-related activities.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to enhance finance processes, efficiency, and accuracy, recommending and implementing solutions as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years experience in accounting, but with a focus on general ledger accounting.
  • Experience in SAP and/or Oracle preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and reconciliation procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other finance-related software.
  • Okay with working a hybrid schedule. (3 days at home and 2 days in office)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP certification or advanced training in SAP Finance modules.
  • Previous experience in a similar finance role within the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of tax regulations related to AP and AR.
