Heavy Haul DriverThe Heavy Haul Driver has a Class A Commercial's Driver's License (CDL-A), safely drives units day or night in all weather conditions and complies with all safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesSafely and legally drive company owned units day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditions (occasionally over long distances)Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment each jobAccurately maintain driver logsVerify and complete required documentation and reportsFollow instructions and complete the required trainingWork variable schedule to meet business needsMaintain and utilize required safety equipmentMaintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, requiredMaintaining a valid and current CDL-A and a clean driving record, requiredMinimum 21 years of age, requiredFamiliarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, requiredAble to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug test and physical examination, requiredAble to pass a road test, requiredAble to operate both manual and automatic transmissions, requiredAble to perform Pre- and Post-trip Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) inspection, requiredMust be familiar with electronic logging devicesClear verbal and written communication skills, must be able to read, write, speak, and follow directions in EnglishPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role's essential functions.
