POSITION OVERVIEW:


As the Director of Omnichannel & Digital Operations you will play a key role in achieving eCommerce and Omnichannel consumer and brand best-in-class goals and strategy. This role is responsible for driving organizational efficiencies across retail and digital channels through clear communication, documentation & institutional standard operating procedures. Additionally, this role will be establishing omnichannel operational KPIs, reporting on performance, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for operational excellence and be customer-obsessed, as they enhance digital capabilities on-site and in-store, in the pursuit of growth and revenue. This role reports to the VP of eCommerce & Digital Marketing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Serve as a key digital leader, contributing to delivering WSS Omnichannel consumer and brand goals and strategy
  • Build strategies and roadmaps for the evolution of the WSS digital commerce roadmap & platforms, in conjunction with our IT and store operations, to drive innovation and best-in-class product management specifically for Shopify & Aptos ERP (inclusive of OMS, DC/WMS, instore fulfillment, etc.)
  • Act as a project manager and point person for the planning & delivery of new eCommerce/Omnichannel technologies/capabilities, inclusive of project management, business requirement generation, and user acceptance testing
  • Work closely with Store Operations, providing omnichannel data analysis, insight and recommendation to drive continuous improvement of our technology & platforms to drive revenue, customer engagement, and cost-savings
  • Support ad-hoc needs and requests of the WSS business team, as the ultimate super user across the various technologies upon which the eCommerce business is run and managed
  • Daily monitoring and oversight of the eCommerce purchase funnel and order processing flow (inclusive of the WSS app, ShopWSS.com and Retail DTC) and act as the primary eCommerce contacts for incidents and resolutions
  • Act as the primary liaison with our distribution center network, governing fulfillment SLAs and ensuring our websites accurately reflect the correct shipping & returns information; also partnering with the WSS Retail team with regards to store fulfillment/Omnichannel.
  • Manage freight and shipping partnerships with service providers, analyzing costs savings, project managing advancements in integration that support enhanced customer experience.
  • Manage direct reports to drive executional excellence and team development for growth and expanding/advancing team capabilities


QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT


  • 7+ years as a Direct to Consumer / Omnichannel operations leader preferably for clothing, shoes, accessories or CPG brands and retailers
  • Efficient in technologies & platforms used to operate a corporate eCommerce and omnichannel business inclusive of EOM, CRM, ERP, WMS. Experience with Shopify, Aptos, and HighJump a plus.
  • Experienced in working across business & IT organizations, coordinating across a high volume of demands & deliveries, and serving a wide array of stakeholders.
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Commercial prowess and the ability to connect technology to business results; a financial acumen to build business cases and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Strong communicator and able to translate complex & technical components into a simple narrative/storyline.
  • Proven team leader and have a passion for people and winning together.

  • Strong analytical skills with a customer-focused and data-driven mindset
  • Strong attention to both big and little details with an ability to respond to last-minute requests and adapt to fast paced business environment
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multi-tasks and be highly organized



Position Type and Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday on a hybrid schedule, with 3 days in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
