Director, Risk Management (FS)As a Director in Capital One's Financial Services Auto Risk, you will apply your leadership and analytical skills to our highest profile Risk Management projects. You will lead a team of Risk Specialists and act as a thought leader working across the enterprise to develop and implement cutting edge Risk solutions to ensure Capital One's continued stability and success. Directors in Capital One's Financial Services Auto Risk partner with Executives and lines of business to drive organizational change in order to better manage the Company's Risk in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded.Directors in Risk Management at Capital One are highly motivated Risk Management professionals with excellent organizational, leadership and communication skills. They have a high level of exposure across lines of business and the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to identify and mitigate potential risks to the Company.Responsibilities:Work with business partners to validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom lineConsult with Executives to determine interaction model with Lines of Business to create positive relationshipsDrive finalization of risk category and sub-category frameworkPerform critical assessments on risk categories to mitigate risk to the companyPerform extensive gap assessments and create recommendations to ensure smart business decisionsUse analytical skills to conduct Risk Process Improvement, Process Design & Process ExcellenceLarge scale Process Management/GovernanceWork with dynamic teams on Departmental Process Management & ExecutionBasic Qualifications:Bachelors Degree or military experienceAt least 5 years of experience in Project Management or Process ManagementAt least 2 years experience in Operations ManagementAt least 2 years experience in People ManagementPreferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or Project Management4+ years experience in People Management5+ years of experience as a Project or Process Manager within the financial services industry5+ years experience in Operations Management10+ years of overall experience as Project or Process ManagerBusiness Process Management certification (internal Capital One certification) Six Sigma Lean, Green Belt or Black Belt certification, Agile Coach certification, Compliance Certification (CRCM)At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.Plano, TX: $181,800 - $207,500 for Director, Risk ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
