Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massage treatments to clients, helping them relieve stress, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. If you have a passion for helping others and possess strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities: - Perform patient assessments to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans - Administer various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and Swedish massage - Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas of pain or tension - Provide exceptional patient service, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care for patients - Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field of massage therapy Qualifications: - Valid Massage Therapist license in the state - Proficient knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Strong understanding of pain management techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans - Physical stamina to perform massages for extended periods of time - Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Skills: - Anatomy knowledge - Physiology knowledge - Patient assessment - Pain management - Patient service - Trigger point therapy - Physical examinations - Deep tissue massage - Medical terminology - Acute pain management We offer competitive compensation and a supportive work environment.
