Shift: Evenings

Summary:
Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel.
Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during imaging procedures.
Operate CT equipment to capture high-quality images of the patient's anatomy.
Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during or after the procedure.
Ensure proper documentation of patient information, imaging procedures, and results.
Education:
One year of related experience
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate's Degree strongly preferred
Bachelor's Degree preferred
ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry ARRT(R) with CT training required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
