Project Manager IIMortenson is seeking a seasoned Project Manager II to provide overall leadership and direction for construction projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, timeliness, and financial performance. This role requires a proactive, adaptable leader who can mentor teams, manage complex projects, and build strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.Responsibilities:Lead project execution from design through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budgetPrepare proposals, support pursuit presentations, and participate in contract negotiationsDevelop and maintain accurate project financials, including projections, billing, and cost controlAllocate project estimates into financial systems and manage cost codes and invoicingOversee subcontractor and supplier selection, contract buyouts, and billingManage and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including performance feedback and developmentServe as the primary point of contact for clients and on-site representatives, resolving concerns and fostering long-term relationshipsManage change orders, ensuring timely submission and approvalEnsure compliance with Mortenson's safety, quality, and risk management standardsPromote an inclusive work environment and uphold Mortenson's values and ethical standardsProvide leadership that supports team collaboration, accountability, and high performanceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experienceMinimum 7 years of construction management experience on large-scale projects ($20M+)Demonstrated success managing complex projects with multiple stakeholdersStrong financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and forecastingProficient in Microsoft Office and project management softwareKnowledge of construction law, business practices, and contract managementExcellent communication, leadership, and customer service skillsValid driver's licenseA few benefits offered include:Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $132,100 - $198,200.
