Joining H&R Block as a seasonal Tax Professional means youll serve clients with diverse tax needs with the support of an expert team, dedicated to providing you with advanced tax training youll need to be successful.It would be even better if you also had:Bachelors degree in accounting or related fieldCPA or Enrolled Agent certificationExperience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or taxExperience conducting virtual tax interviewsExperience with tax planning and audit supportSales and/or marketing experience1 - Enrollment in or completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment.What youll bring to the team:Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools video, phone, chat, emailPrepare complete and accurate tax returnsGenerate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and servicesProvide clients with IRS supportAll certification levels can provide tax notice servicesCircular 230 associates can provide audit representationMentor and support teammatesYour expertise:Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge AssessmentExperience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or taxExperience completing individual returnsExperience working in a fast-paced environmentComfort working with virtual tools video, phone and chatAbility to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writingMust complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirementsHigh school diploma / equivalent or higherPay Range InformationThe pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.Pay Range$18.00 - $20.00/Hr.
