Nutritional Support Associate Part-time Afternoon Positions Available Join Our Fantastic Team Provide delightful dining service for residents, guests, family members, and employees. Prepare trays and serve food according to menu guidelines and dietary requirements. Help maintain clean and sanitized kitchen and dining areas. Position Responsibilities Serve appetizing and visually appealing meals. Ensure timely meal service to residents. Adhere to established portion control procedures when serving food. Assist in cleaning tasks as per established policies. Keep work areas including tables, refrigerators, and floors clean and organized. Manage soiled utensils and ensure they are cleaned appropriately. Prepare and set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas as instructed. Support the cook in food preparation and obtaining supplies for upcoming meals. Check diet trays for accuracy before distribution. Deliver food carts and trays to appropriate locations efficiently. Perform dishwashing and cleaning of utensils for the next meal service. Assist in preparing and delivering snacks when required. Safety and Sanitation Guidelines Prepare food according to sanitary regulations and company policies. Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the department by reporting hazardous conditions. Dispose of waste in compliance with established guidelines. Wear protective gear when handling hazardous materials. Resident Engagement Respect residents' confidentiality and privacy. Knock before entering residents' rooms. Report any complaints to the Director of Food Services. Working Environment Work in a well-lit and ventilated kitchen setting, with a warm atmosphere for cooking. Engage with residents, staff, and visitors in a diverse environment. Be prepared for emergencies and work beyond standard hours when necessary. Participate in ongoing educational training. This position may involve exposure to various conditions, including infectious materials and temperature changes. Covid vaccination and booster are not required. Requirements Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Capable of working with food and cleaning agents.
