POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for candidates who are committed to learning and growing in their work environments. Requirements include strong organization skills, time management, attention to detail, food/wine knowledge, and a desire to provide unsurpassed hospitality. 

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly managing the guest experience with food and beverages in a quick and professional manner. 
  • Maintaining dining ambiance with an enthusiastic, fun and graceful attitude.
  • Communicating orders to the kitchen by recording guest choices and special dietary needs and requests. 
  • Demonstrating expert knowledge of all menu items. All members of the service team are responsible for being able to effectively describe each dish as well as all the ingredients, preparation/techniques and allergens. 
  • Acting as part of the team to maintain the highest standards of of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service. 
  • Completing all assigned side work as dictated by management. 
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and guidelines including being ready to work at scheduled shift, in uniform, as per uniform standards. 
  • Complete any other task given with as required in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company. 
  • Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands.

  • A willingness to jump in and assist with additional duties when needed (bussing tables, creating guests, running food) and a great team player. 
  • Genuine warmth and hospitality 
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Strong work ethic, with a customer-focused approach. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative quality standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. 
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. 
  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the work area and property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder hight frequently, or otherwise move in a consistently changing environment. 
  • Climbing steps regularly. 

COMPENSATION

Compensation based upon experience and hours of the day plus gratuity.
