Description Summary: As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide essential care under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse for clinic patients, adhering to established standards and practices. You will perform various lab procedures as needed and in accordance with your competency level. Responsibilities: Embrace and demonstrate the OneCHRISTUS competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Under the guidance of the physician, carry out fundamental patient care tasks including obtaining vital signs, weighing patients, and collecting samples, including phlebotomy (specific to site). Assist provider(s) in patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, optimizing patient flow through the clinic. Effectively communicate by answering phone calls, recording messages, and assisting provider(s) with patient-related inquiries. Support the scheduling of test appointments, results, and pre-certifications. Document any relevant patient information accurately. Assist provider(s) with medication refills to ensure patient care continuity. Administer medications and immunizations as per provider orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and equipment per policy; order necessary supplies from the supply department, ensuring sterile techniques and adherence to universal protocols. Perform routine clerical tasks as assigned, including locating patient charts, filing documentation, and completing routine forms. Participate in required meetings and in-service training opportunities; perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements: CERT Valid LVN License in the state of employment or compact Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM. Work Type: Full-Time
