Privacy And Data Policy ManagerMeta is looking for a Privacy and Data Policy Manager who is experienced in building products with privacy at their core. This role will focus on policy support for privacy product decisions in Facebook Threads and IG. The role will also lead Meta's strategy on privacy topics such as Data Access, Transfer, and Portability. Finally, this role will contribute policy perspective in shaping Privacy Marketing initiatives.ResponsibilitiesThe Privacy and Data Policy Manager will:Lead and participate in cross-functional working groups of product managers, engineers, public policy and communications specialists, and others to help the company simultaneously address policy, legal, engineering, user interface, business, marketing and other privacy requirementsEngage with external stakeholders to drive conversations around key privacy issuesPresent on behalf of Meta regarding privacy issues, including in external meetings and conferencesBuild consensus around innovative solutions to privacy in new technologies and contextsServe as a strategic advisor to executivesMinimum QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:9+ years of experience working in a privacy, public policy or related fieldBachelor's degreeKnowledge of Meta products, features, and policiesKnowledge of privacy policy and legislative frameworks and debates$158,000/year to $228,000/year + bonus + equity + benefitsIndividual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
