Scope of work involves both internal and external events as well as online/digital platforms. Responsibilities include all aspects of event facilitation and on-site delivery spanning from initial development to event closure and evaluation. Job duties may include curriculum development, budget management and contract negotiation, marketing strategy, customer service, facilitation of training, event communications and other pre or post event responsibilities as required. Operationally responsible for certification processes and procedures and overseeing database development and maintenance. Negotiates and signs all course-related contracts. This position requires the flexibility to travel and work weekends and evenings when necessary.Position is onsite for first 6 months. Once fully trained hybrid (combination of onsite and remote work) is an option. Individual must live within driving distance to the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus.This vacancy is not eligible for sponsorship / we will not sponsor or transfer visas for this position.During the selection process, you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.Qualifications:Minimum of five years' experience in education, event management, office management or project management.-or-A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Event Management or a related field and one year of experience in event management.Additional Qualifications:Candidate must be tobacco-free a minimum of six months. Understanding of project management is beneficial. Must be able to travel to execute events and marketing at conference exhibits. Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), strong organizational skill and self-initiative. Experience in data collection, organization, analysis and delivery of information preferred. Must be highly organized, able to prioritize and balance multiple projects simultaneously, work independently as well as in a team, and exercise good judgment.Exemption Status: NonexemptCompensation Detail: $26.71 - $39.82 / hour.
