Senior Systems Engineer

Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team This position is located in Celebration, Florida. Duties:Design, build, test, and maintain automation workflows that support mission-critical business processesAnalyze and optimize existing workflows to improve performance, reliability, and scalabilityLead and support the migration of automation workloads from legacy on-prem environments to cloud platformsDevelop and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash) to streamline operations and reduce manual effortPartner with cross-functional teams to integrate Automic with ServiceNow and enhance monitoring and alerting capabilitiesCreate and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation to support consistency, compliance, and knowledge sharingResearch and adopt emerging automation technologies and best practices to continuously improve job scheduling and orchestrationDesired Skills/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience supporting Automation Engine or comparable enterprise scheduling tools in large-scale environments5+ years of experience in IT, systems engineering, or computer systems analysisStrong hands-on experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systemsSolid understanding of operating system concepts, system dependencies, and high-level infrastructure architectureProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues ranging from simple workflow failures to complex system integrationsStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiencesExperience working with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing platformsFamiliarity with Confluence or other documentation toolsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented professional capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervisionStrong automation-first mindset, consistently identifying opportunities to improve efficiency through automationIndustry certifications in AWS, Azure, VMware, Microsoft, or related cloud and infrastructure technologiesBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance PlansEmployee-Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)401K offeredThe approximate pay range for this position is between $55.00 and $79.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location.
