Your day-to-day may include: responding to inquiries from the State and other tax authorities, leading a good working relationship with clients and working effectively with client management, to gather information and perform tax services, leading team members to promptly resolve client problems or tax issues encountered in preparation process, understanding client operations, processes, and business objectives, and utilizing that knowledge on engagements, attending professional development and training sessions on a regular basis, senior managers will oversee numerous client projects and tasks simultaneously, leading professional development and training sessions on a regular basis, business development leading sales presentations for both existing and prospective clients, and other duties as assigned.You have the following technical skills and qualifications: a bachelor's degree in accounting, minimum ten years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting, CPA, JD, or certified member of the institute for professionals in taxation required, excellent written and verbal communication skills, senior managers are required to manage various project tasks at the same time, project managers will be ultimately responsible for the overall project and deliverable, support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development, and other pursuit activities at clients, strong computer skills, and can travel as needed.About Us At Grant Thornton, we believe in making business more personal and building trust into every result for our clients and you.
