Through your participation in these Lookback engagements, you will likely be involved in:Performing case investigationsAssessing potential AML and sanctions risks as they arise throughout case investigations.Making recommended decisions regarding case dispositionsUtilizing feedback and input to improve case investigations, as required.Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and/or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.The Team Our Deloitte Regulatory, Risk & Forensic team helps client leaders translate multifaceted risk and an evolving regulatory environment into defensible actions that strengthen, protect, and transform their organization. Our professionals address client needs which span the organization and impact strategy, operations, performance, and reputation.Qualifications Required:Minimum 2+ years of experience in private or public sector AML and/or sanctions-focused activities2+ Years Experience in AML/sanctions regulations as they apply to financial institutions, including retail, wholesale and international banks, Trade Finance, Fraud, Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Wealth Management2+ Years Experience performing AML case investigations, specifically pertaining to Trade Finance, Fraud, Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Wealth Management2+ Years Experience in Transactions Monitoring, Reviewing and Analyzing Transactions/ Alerts and Identifying Suspicious Activity2+ Years Experience drafting Suspicious Activity Reports ("SARs")2+ Years Experience using AML Monitoring systems and related software2+ Year Experience of providing advice regarding applicable AML/OFAC regulations and requirements with a focus on Trade Finance, Fraud, Retail Banking, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Business, Law, Criminal Justice, or a related fieldLimited immigration sponsorship may be availableAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you servePreferred:Investigations ExperienceFIU - Financial Institutions Unit ExperienceAML Consulting ExperienceCertifications such as CAMS and CFERegulatory experienceAnalytical/ Decision Making ResponsibilitiesAnalytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work productsCan operate independently or with minimum supervisionExcellent Written and Communication SkillsAbility to deliver technical demonstrationsInformation for applicants with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.htmlFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington State, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, Jersey City, Nevada, New York state, and Washington state and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,200-$121,800.
