Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Design
Develop and oversee detailed designs technical drawings and blueprints for infrastructure projects.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project needs and requirements.
Project Management Support
Collaborate with project managers to ensure that engineering designs are aligned with project timelines budgets and client specifications.
Coordinate with crossfunctional teams including architects construction managers and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Technical Oversight
Provide technical guidance throughout all project phases from initial planning to final inspection.
Conduct engineering analyses to assess project viability structural integrity and compliance with safety standards.
Compliance and Quality Control
Ensure that all engineering activities comply with industry regulations safety standards and environmental requirements.
Oversee quality control protocols to maintain high standards in all deliverables.
Problem Solving and Innovation
Identify and address technical challenges proactively providing innovative solutions to optimize project outcomes.
Stay current on emerging industry trends materials and technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Documentation and Reporting
Prepare and review technical documentation including reports drawings and specifications.
Communicate progress updates and project milestones clearly to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Masters degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or working towards it is preferred.
Minimum of 35 years of civil engineering experience ideally in infrastructure or construction projects.
Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant tools.
Strong knowledge of industry codes safety standards and environmental regulations.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detailoriented and organized with strong project management skills.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: 35.00 $52.00/hr
