divh2Inventory Specialist/h2pThe Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, managing parts distribution, and ensuring efficient inventory operations. This role is critical in supporting field operations through timely parts transfers, pro-active purchase ordering to ensure there are no stockouts, accurate order processing and receiving, and adherence to inventory control procedures. The Inventory Specialist also supports warehouse operations and contributes to FDA compliance efforts at our Bottled Water Plant. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accountability, and a proactive approach to improving processes./ppKey responsibilities include:/pulliCoordinate and process parts transfers to technicians and internal departments accurately and efficiently./liliMaintain organized, labeled, and accessible inventory storage areas./liliCreate, send, receive, and reconcile purchase orders for inventory items, supplies, and special orders./liliComplete three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices./liliTrack open orders, back orders, and special orders to ensure timely fulfillment./liliEnter, update, and verify all inventory transactions to maintain system data integrity./liliInvestigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records./liliConduct weekly spot checks to verify stock accuracy and identify discrepancies./liliParticipate in and coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts./liliGenerate and maintain inventory-related reports for management review./liliMonitor inventory metrics such as accuracy rate, turnover, and shrinkage./liliRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors./liliFollow company policies, procedures, and safety standards related to inventory and warehouse operations./liliSupport FDA compliance and audits at the Bottled Water Plant./liliAssist with regulatory testing of bottled water plant production and warehouse./liliAssist Warehouse Cooler Technician with preparation of equipment for installation./liliMaintain and improve warehouse storage for inventory./liliIdentify opportunities to streamline inventory processes and improve workflow efficiency./liliCollaborate with management and colleagues to implement improvements./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred./lili2 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field preferred./liliProficiency in inventory management software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Sage, Service Titan or equivalent) preferred./liliAdvanced Excel skills and accurate data entry capabilities preferred./liliExceptional attention to detail and organizational skills./liliAbility to multitask, prioritize, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment./liliStrong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills./liliAccountability and reliability in performing inventory duties with minimal supervision./liliPrior knowledge of operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment to safely move, load, and organize inventory, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures preferred./liliAbility to lift up to 50 lbs as required./liliProlonged standing, bending, and walking in warehouse or stockroom environments./li/ulpWork environment:/pulliPrimarily warehouse and office setting./liliMay require occasional travel among locations for inventory counts or operational support./li/ulpWhat success looks like:/pulliMaintain ?98% inventory accuracy across all tracked warehouse items./liliMaintain ?95% inventory accuracy across all tracked technician truck items./liliEnsure timely parts availability, supporting field technicians to prevent stockouts and delays in service./liliComplete purchase order reconciliations and cycle counts on schedule with minimal errors./liliDemonstrate accountability and reliability, consistently following inventory and compliance procedures./liliProactively identify and implement process improvements, reducing inefficiencies or errors./liliSupport FDA compliance and audit readiness, ensuring all required documentation and presentation is accurate and complete./liliFoster a collaborative, professional, and organized work environment, supporting operational, internal team, and overall organizational goals./li/ulpCompensation: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour/ph2About Culligan/h2pGreat tasting water.
