The CTL creates and leads a sales team that is passionate about selling merchandise and ensuring a good associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include all aspects of merchandising, Associate development, customer service, and financial oversight.Primary Responsibilities include: assisting the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, and shrink reduction; demonstrating Ollie's "Yes I Care, Yes I Can" behaviors in providing exceptional Associate and Customer service; ensuring store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet all operational expectations; developing and executing talent planning to insure associate growth; ensuring proper scheduling and staffing for the business needs; performing all functions to open and close the store when needed.Qualifications include: high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 2 years' retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer, schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holiday seasonal on a regular basis, and a valid Driver's license.Physical Requirements include: ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds, and ability to stand for extended periods and work in a safe manner.Ollie's is an equal opportunity employer.
