HVAC Mechanic

HVAC MechanicResponsibilities:Process and complete work orders efficiently.Install new refrigeration systems and perform routine maintenance.Troubleshoot mechanical failures and repair equipment.Advise on equipment upgrades and recommend alternate cooling units.Perform maintenance, installation, and repair work on refrigeration systems, equipment, and components under general supervision.Work on ice machines, freezers, and CRAC (computer room air conditioners).Perform maintenance on commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.Respond to HVAC related calls in the hospital.Monitor computer system for HVAC equipment.Follow preventative maintenance schedule to service HVAC equipment.Service and repair of all HVAC, boilers, chillers, and water towers.Perform rounds and daily water chemical testing.Repair or replace compressors, motors, controls, boards, pumps, steam traps, piping, and components.Troubleshoot digital and analog control circuits and components.Monitor JCI Metasys BAS for boilers, chillers, water towers, softeners, and HVAC systems.Service and repair all HVAC, heat pump, and refrigeration equipment.Additional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma required.Journeyman certification.Experience in commercial buildings.Skills in HVAC, facilities maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, mechanical, and electrical tasks.Available Shifts:7am-3:30pm3pm-11:30pmPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $34.64 - $37.32/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
