Shipping and Receiving SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to maintain accurate records of all products shipped and received, ensuring the warehouse operates efficiently. This role involves creating mailing labels, shipping documents, and ensuring all orders are filled correctly. The Specialist will also manage the sending, accepting, and recording of parts, supplies, and materials.Responsibilities:Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments.Create mailing labels and shipping documents to ensure order accuracy.Send, accept, and record the movement of parts, supplies, and materials.Lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.Operate forklifts and pallet moving equipment safely (training provided).Essential Skills:Experience in a Shipping and Receiving position.Ability to lift 50 pounds.Proficiency in MS Office and Excel.Experience with inventory control and ERP systems such as SAP.Additional Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Ability to perform specific shipping/receiving exercises in relevant software.Why Work Here?This is a great, long-term opportunity with the potential to transition to a direct position. Physical duties include lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, standing, crouching, reaching overhead, stooping, and kneeling. The role requires repetitive motion, lifting up to 50 pounds, exerting up to 50 pounds of force, standing 8-12 hours per day, and operating vehicles such as forklifts. Working from heights and the ability to ascend/descend ladders are also part of the job requirements.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr.
