Your ideas will support scalable growth and create efficiencies for the Target Plus merchandising, new business and operations teams.As the Senior Manager of Marketplace Communications you will help shape the future of Target Plus by unlocking communication strategies that deliver clarity and engagement for our rapidly growing, curated marketplace sellers. This role will own the strategy and execution of clear, engaging communications that help Sellers understand what's happening, why it matters, and what to do next. You'll own the editorial calendar and deliver consistent, on-brand messages across newsletters, announcements, and portal content. Collaborating cross-functionally, you'll translate complex business, technology, and policy updates into simple, actionable communications that drive seller awareness, readiness and adoption. You'll also use data and insights to continuously refine messaging, streamline communication channels, and ensure sellers receive the right information at the right time.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage the seller communications strategy across multiple vehicles newsletters, announcements, portal content and notifications, FAQs etc.Create and maintain an editorial calendar of proactive messages across the business and technology enablement spaceLead change management routines to ensure readiness for key policy or technology changes and rolloutsSupport the team in streamlining operational communication to sellers where possible using existing team processes and capabilitiesTranslate business updates, new features, or policy changes into simple, actionable messages and content.Maintain consistent voice and brand alignment across all seller-facing channels.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure sellers receive the right information at the right time.Track, analyze and report on communication campaign effectivenessQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceStrong written and verbal communication including 4+ years in a communications role, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace environments2+ years in project management or working with large cross functional environment including business, operations tech and product teamsDemonstrated success navigating ambiguity and driving cross-functional alignmentThis position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
