We are working with our client Lotfey Dennett in seeking a Sr. Personal Insurance Account Manager to be based in their Portland, Maine office. Hybrid schedule available.



Requirements of the Sr. Personal Insurance Account Manager:

  • 3-5 years of experience in an account management role, preferably managing private client accounts.
  • P&C license required*; advanced insurance designations preferred. *If not licensed, must be able to get licensed within 60 days, and the agency will pay for licensing.
  • Experience working with carriers such as Chubb, Cincinnati, Hanover, Berkeley One, etc. preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including good judgement on means of effective communication.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to think creatively to solve client issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and ability to learn and embrace new technologies.
  • Experience with EZLynx Management System or other CRM.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Personal Insurance Account Manager:

  • Work directly with personal lines clients, including private client group accounts, to provide dedicated client support and service ensuring that client and agency needs are met.
  • Manage client renewals, including reviewing coverages and carrier placement opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to round out existing accounts to fill voids in client’s insurance portfolio.
  • Quote new business based on a strong understanding of client needs and resources.
  • Maintain client and policy information in a timely, accurate manner in EZLynx.
  • Stay up to date on products and industry trends to provide high level service and options to clients.
