Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Fiber Optic Splicer at SOBO Telecom, LLC located in Littleton, CO. The Fiber Optic Splicer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to fiber optic splicing, installation, and maintenance. This includes splicing fibers, terminating connectors, performing fiber optic testing, troubleshooting and repairing fiber optic cables, and following safety protocols.


Qualifications

  • Fiber optic splicing, installation, and maintenance skills
  • Knowledge of cables, cabling, and structured cabling
  • Experience working with testing equipment and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus
  • Certifications in Fiber Optic Splicing or related field are beneficial
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to the jobsite
  • Must have a drivers license and a clean MVR to be eligible to drive company vehicles
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check and pre-employment drug testing
