For our newly established digital task force, we are looking for a highly motivated and driven PMO. The PMO will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while also aligning with the strategic objectives of MediaMarktSaturn. You will be part of the Digital Experience MediaMarkt Saturn Holding department, based in Rotterdam Netherlands and Ingolstadt Germany. In this position you will report to the VP Digital. Your responsibilities would be to:

  • Assist in the development of project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Provide support to project managers and teams.
  • Facilitate project kick-off meetings and regular status updates.
  • Coordinate resource allocation and ensure optimal utilization of resources.
  • Develop and maintain a risk management framework.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Escalate critical risks and issues to senior management as needed.
  • Track and report on project progress, performance, and outcomes.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
Who are you?

To be successful in this job you need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in a PMO role or project management.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote or hybrid work environment.

Furthermore you have:

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in the fields of digitalization and innovation in retail is a strong plus.
