Current Needs / Shifts: Full-time positions available with 12-hour shifts covering days and nights.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer nursing care to incarcerated individuals within Michigan's correctional facilities.
  • Conduct health assessments, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans.
  • Monitor and document changes in patients' conditions and behaviors.
  • Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate referrals to external healthcare providers and medical facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Respond promptly to healthcare requests in a clinically appropriate manner.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure in the state of Michigan, in good standing.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
  • Previous experience in correctional or behavioral health settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
