Job OverviewAs an Automotive Service Advisor at Buddy Isles Tire and Automotive, you'll manage daily operations, handle repair orders, warranty claims, and sales, while expanding your automotive knowledge. The role focuses on delivering efficient, high-quality service, driving profitability, and ensuring customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide energized, customer-focused interactions throughout the repair process and beyond, ensuring a positive experience.Ensure customer information is accurate and up to date during every interaction.Convey detailed information between customers and technicians in accordance with company and industry standards.Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills through all interactions, including in-person communication, thank you cards, follow-up calls, and vehicle retrievals.Foster a high-functioning workplace by supporting technician production and driving customer satisfaction.Exhibit strong communication with team members, always prioritizing customer needs and company standards.Conduct morning meetings to discuss daily objectives, encourage transparency, and optimize technician efficiency.Establish and manage appointment scheduling and repair order (RO) time management practices, including walk in customers.Capture required photos and vehicle-related documentation during courtesy checks, and provide oil change stickers prior to technician assignments.Build accurate estimates based on technician findings, including recommended mileage maintenance and additional services within company margins.Accurately explain services (e.g., BG Products) and their benefits to customers.Review and analyze fellow service advisors' repair orders for accuracy and completion in alignment with company standards.Research Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) and recalls when applicable.Present and thoroughly explain estimates to customers, ensuring approval for services.Assist with customer concierge services when necessary.Perform concluding audits on all repair orders, ensuring accurate data entry and required documentation are complete.Ensure customers are informed about any promotional offers and in-house specials.Review repair orders with customers upon service completion and address any questions or concerns.Handle monetary transactions with accuracy and attention to detail.Offer financial support options and assist with extended warranties and insurance claims.Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the facility and its services, offering tours or other outlets as needed.Promote and participate in company-hosted events and encourage marketing strategies to boost car count.Retrieve parts from vendors as necessary.Comply with company and industry standards by participating in mandatory training programs.Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Assist other departments with customer service within the scope of the role.Take detailed messages for team members when answering phone calls.Manage the opening and closing of the facility, including securing doors, gates, lights, and other necessary equipment.QualificationsStrong communication skills with a customer-first attitude.Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain organization.Previous experience in an automotive service environment is preferred.Familiarity with repair orders, estimates, and customer interaction best practices.Basic understanding of automotive repair and maintenance services.Strong attention to detail and ability to work well within a team.#J-18808-Ljbffr
