Performs other assignments related to the procurement and management of materials from suppliers. Responsible for negotiating with approved vendors, assuring the timeliness of deliveries and accuracy of orders, and following up with vendors when there is a problem with delivery.ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes customer purchase orders for compliance to BHE or customer's contract termsAnalyzes and executes quoting/buying to customer requirements.Continuously monitors and verifies materials pipeline to ensure it meets the customer requirements.Ensures materials availability to support prototypes, test, automation and MRO itemsMaintains integrity of data to minimize material liability and to optimize working capitalMonitors and continuously strive to improve supplier's delivery and quality performance.Request and analyze quotations concerning items that meet customer design and specificationAnalyze potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement.Identify and appropriately address materials supply issues.Oversee planning to ensure materials are staged for builds, which may include moving parts through logistics.Other InformationExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
