In this position you will need to perform a wide range of accounts payable and accounts receivables activities for the department and/or managers to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Responsibilities: This position receives and processes all invoices for payment in a timely fashion. Deals with a diverse group of important external buyers and vendors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization. Account Reconciliation Ledger maintenance and assigns expenses to appropriate accounts. Interfaces with internal and external customers Develop and improve new accounting methods and techniques. Requirements: Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Strong analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work. Work requires continual attention to details, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and e-mail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to understand various departmental operations and procedures. Initiate, plan and complete work assignments with minimum direction and control. Understands accounting procedures and transactions used in account receivables and payables. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands. Knowledge of NetSuite or Sage is a plus.
