Vice PresidentCAMBA is a community of staff, volunteers, clients, donors, neighbors and partners who work together to build an inclusive New York City, where all children and adults have access to the resources and supports, they need to thrive. We take a comprehensive approach by offering more than 180 integrated programs in: Education & Youth Development, Family Support, Job Training & Employment Support Services, Health, Housing, and Legal Services. We reach almost 80,000 individuals and families, including almost 13,000 youth. CAMBA serves a diverse cross section of New Yorkers from new mothers in Brownsville to job seekers in the Rockaways. More than half of our clients are immigrants and refugees from around the globe. Over 85% of our families are living in poverty, reflecting the challenges faced by nearly 1.7 million New Yorkers today.The Vice President will maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality. They will also practice universal precautions, comply with security and privacy policies, and clearly communicate policies, requirements, and program performance targets to staff. The Vice President will provide oversight of facility operations, assist with maintenance and facilities issues, and ensure regulatory compliance. They will also manage special projects, develop and implement procedures for measuring and documenting facility operations, and represent CAMBA at various meetings and with public officials. The Vice President will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports and statistical information, collaborate with staff on inventory databases, and communicate with peers on client progress and best program practices. They will assist in proposal preparation and contract negotiation, confer with senior management on programmatic and personnel issues, and report significant events or incidents to appropriate management staff. The Vice President will be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and must have an understanding of engineering and project management, leadership qualities, superior organizational abilities, effective communication and negotiation skills, cost-consciousness, honesty with vendors and contractors, and proactive problem-solving. They must possess appropriate training and licenses in areas such as boilers, HVAC, and fire safety.Minimum Education/Experience Required: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and/or three years of applicable experience and/or equivalent experience.Compensation: $105k-110k annuallyStatus: Full-time (35 hours weekly)Benefits: CAMBA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays.CAMBA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
