You Are:
You are an experienced and dedicated Senior Cloud Network Engineer with a passion for cutting-edge technology and innovation. With a solid background in network and security administration, you have honed your skills over 8+ years in supporting medium to large enterprise environments. You possess a diligent security mindset, understanding the importance of security best practices, and are adept at translating business requirements into technical specifications. Your expertise in cloud connectivity technologies, such as ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, IPsec, and Transit Gateway, sets you apart. You thrive in collaborative environments, leading and working alongside other engineering team members to develop technical design solutions. Your familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform, coupled with your deep understanding of network routing and security protocols, makes you an invaluable asset. Certifications in Azure, AWS, and potentially CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE further enhance your qualifications.
What You‘ll Be Doing:
- Manage priority network and cloud projects, including design, scoping, project planning, timeline, and deployment.
- Ensure seamless project handover with well-documented SOPs to the Network Operations team for support post go-live.
- Configure and maintain ITAR-compliant cloud environments.
- Develop and implement robust network security policies and procedures.
- Contribute to architecture, planning, implementation, and major initiatives related to networks and cloud, with opportunities to expand into security and data center initiatives.
- Support escalated incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Lead and collaborate with other engineering team members in developing technical design solutions.
- Review and evaluate technological network-related needs, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Utilize automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation to streamline cloud environment provisioning.

What You‘ll Need:
- BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Certification in Azure, AWS.
- Strong expertise with cloud connectivity technologies, such as ExpressRoute, Direct Connect, IPsec, Transit Gateway, VPC Peering, etc.
- 8+ years of network and security administration experience in medium to large enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of network routing and security protocols such as IPSec, IKE, GRE, OSPF, BGP, SD-WAN.
- Experience with cloud load balancers, traffic engineering, and encryption in transit methods.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
