Branch AssociateThe Branch Associate is responsible for receiving and preparing orders, as well as safely moving, loading, and delivering products. This position is also expected to provide customer service and operate tinting, mixing, and color matching equipment, as needed. The individual selected for this role will be expected to work at Automotive Branch #9353 located at 1937 Blairs Ferry Rd NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402. This is a part-time position. The work schedule will align with the branch's hours of operation of Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Specific working hours will be determined based on business needs and are subject to change.Job duties involve contact with customers, which may include minors; and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, store merchandise, and other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's customers, staff, employees, vendors, contractors, and the general public.ResponsibilitiesPrepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)Load and unload products from deliveriesOperate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipmentAssist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and servicesProcess sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and proceduresDeliver products to the customer in a safe and timely mannerCommunicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkersKeep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilizationFollow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulationsEnsure that the stockroom is organizedOperate tinting, mixing, and color matching equipment, as neededComply with inventory control procedures and assist with bi-annual inventory reviewQualificationsMinimum RequirementsMust be at least eighteen (18) years of ageMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the futureMust have a valid, unrestricted Driver's LicenseMust be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasionMust be willing to work all scheduled hours, with or without reasonable accommodationPreferred QualificationsHave at least a High School diploma or GEDHave at least one (1) year of work experience using material handling equipment (for example: forklifts (stand and sit), pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts, etc.)Have at least one (1) year of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales
