Strother Site Quality LeaderThe Shop Quality Leader will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across shop operations. We have experienced teams working in plasma, frame and wire spraying, polyurethane and sermetel painting as well as heat treating, brazing, and TIG welding operations. In addition to comprehensive internal engine repair/overhaul, we also operate a world-class evaluation and testing facility that's FEDEC capable.As the Strother Site Quality Leader, you will provide strategic and technical leadership to drive a Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality across shop operations. This full-time, on-site role involves leading the quality organization at Strother, partnering with Plant Leadership, Product Support Engineering, and the Global MRO organization to drive continuous improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.Key Responsibilities:Own Zero Defect Culture and Proactive Quality for shop operations.Collaborate with Plant Leadership and Staff on Breakthrough Objectives and Top-Level Improvement Priorities for the site.Champion FLIGHT DECK in Quality operations, providing subject matter expertise on methods and problem-solving tools.Partner with customer teams and directly with customers on quality improvement to enhance the customer experience.Drive advanced quality tool maturation in shop operations.Lead a team of quality professionals, coaching and mentoring them on an ongoing basis.Assure performance to Key Performance Indicators in customer-delivered and in-process quality.Maintain strong regulatory compliance for P145 repair station.Champion the local Safety Management System and partner horizontally across the network to strengthen standardization of global SMS processes.Drive and maintain regulatory and operator approvals in partnership with engine programs and overall network strategy.The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging at all levels of the organization. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, are passionate about driving continuous improvement, and have a deep understanding of quality operations and regulatory compliance.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations, or related field.Minimum 6 years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related areas.Experienced People Leader.Ability to travel 10%.Preferred Qualifications:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and engage at all levels of the organization.Understanding of GE Aerospace quality policies and procedures.Experience in P145 regulatory environment and compliance.Proven leader in driving Continuous Improvement.Strong problem-solving experience.Strong program and project management skills.Additional Information:Full-time, 40 hours per week.All candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with occasional travel.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
