This hybrid role requires advanced knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Excel, plus experience in the energy/utility sector. Candidates must be expert communicators with the ability to drive insights and present findings to leadership. Local Bay Area candidates only - onsite presence required 4-5 times per month in Oakland. Key Responsibilities: Analyze complex data models and create customized reports Predict business outcomes using large and varied datasets Build and present metrics and KPIs to guide business strategy Respond to internal/external data requests and ensure timely delivery Design systems supporting regulatory filings and business modeling Lead and manage small to mid-sized data analytics projects Required Experience: 4+ years of related work in data analytics or business intelligence Strong project management and problem-solving background Experience in the utility or energy industry Nice-to-Have Experience: Professional experience with regulatory data modeling Previous work with large-scale financial or operational data sets Experience working in cross-functional project environments Required Skills: Advanced SQL and Excel skills Power BI development and dashboarding Communication and stakeholder presentation Preferred Skills: Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Project Familiarity with SAS, Business Objects What-if modeling and scenario analysis Metrics tracking and KPI forecasting Additional Skills: Operational monitoring, persuasion, advocacy Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking ability Adaptability in ambiguous, fast-changing environments Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund About the Client: Leading natural gas and electric energy company serving millions of customers across the United States.
